even though it was "never involved", i was interested to note what popped up one tick under my £2 at 13.0 in-running -

ShockedShocked
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 3:45 PM GMT
someone wanted £108 on it.  at one tick under my £2.  and it was never involved.

now who could that possibly have been ??????????
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 3:46 PM GMT
values available - £13, £4, £6

oh look, there's a £108 appeared ...
Report swiftynifty March 24, 2026 3:54 PM GMT
can you explain how that fits into the SP fixing theory?
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 3:57 PM GMT
those £108's also appear pre-race.  they push the price one way or another and the high street follows the prices on here.
so whoever owns the £108's, make your own mind up, is wiggling the prices.
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 3:59 PM GMT
i'm not even sure that £108 is actually there.  if you try to take it it'll probably disappear.  is it there to influence the market in a certain direction, the horse was last, it was never involved.  so who in their right mind wanted £108 on it ??
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 4:02 PM GMT
apart from that the figure itself just looks completely bogus, look at jack the savage which was much better positioned.

someone wants £2 at 7.4 and £3 at 7.8

amounts dwarfed by what someone wants on the one that's not involved.
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 4:03 PM GMT
Honneur de Sivola - also better placed.  £11, £7, £7

it has to be nonsense.

Fibonacci Sequence: The sum of the first 24 digits of the Fibonacci sequence (using decimal parity) is exactly 108

Bots — ranging from financial trading algorithms to AI and software programs—use the Fibonacci sequence frequently, both for analyzing data and within computer science algorithms.
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 4:22 PM GMT
how does it know to place the £108 in front of a particular participants bets.

the only person with access to that information, no matter how sophisticated your bot may be, is the owner of the site.

so we can say with a fair degree of certainty who placed the £108, as seen above.
Report swiftynifty March 24, 2026 4:28 PM GMT
hulk you are clearly a marked man. to prevent you kopping a pony they risked over a grand.

of course that 108 at 12.5 was virtual money.

change your settings to not show virtual money and you will find peace.
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 4:31 PM GMT
if its virtual they risked nada ...
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 4:39 PM GMT
give you some perspective.  here's the 4.30 at a similar stage
not one amount over £20 looking to get on, mostly 3 quid, 4 quid, 7 quid.

so it must be the biggest coincidence ever, that someone wanted £108 on the same horse as my £2 wanted on, at one tick less.  not 2 ticks, not 3 ticks. one tick less.  not 3 quid, not 4 quid, not 7 quid.  one hundred and eight pounds exactly.

Report JML March 24, 2026 5:54 PM GMT
Totally made up- Hulk saw the £108, took a picture and then claimed that it was his £2 next to it.

The one thing that he has never explained over the years is WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO COPY HIS BETS?

Betfair should close his account because of issues with his mental health.

WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO COPY HIS BETS?

not copying.  my experiment was to lay Broderick for £2 at 11.5, back it £2 at 13.0

they're not copying bets, they're throwing £108 in front of the 13.0 cos they don't want people laying one and backing it at a bigger price.

it's happening all the time, you normally won't spot it in busy pre-race markets (although i do occasionally).  but in light in-running markets it sticks out like an extremely sore thumb, see above.
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 6:21 PM GMT
probably a bot, hence it has no comprehension of how obvious it will / does look.
Report swiftynifty March 24, 2026 6:23 PM GMT
I think they've just got it in for you hulk.

Open a new clean account, you'll be an unmarked man again.
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 6:26 PM GMT
in order for my £2 to get matched someone would have to risk £1,242 to cover his £108 at 12.5

which was obviously never going to happen.  quite clever huh ??
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 6:30 PM GMT
as soon as it's clearly beat (fast pics), delete the £108 and you can have all the 13.0 you want.

it's now 150.0
Report JML March 24, 2026 6:33 PM GMT
So if you knew that why did you keep your bet at 13?

How does a bot know the horse is beaten?
Report TameTheTiger March 24, 2026 6:37 PM GMT
multi millionaire bookmaker wont allow a punter on an exchange to back 2 pound at 13 and lay off the 2 pound at 11.5.
you couldnt make it up....oh hang on, someone did !
Report swiftynifty March 24, 2026 6:51 PM GMT
so paddy's playing their own markets and they've got the top IR players working for them too, jeez, what chance have we all got?
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 7:12 PM GMT
presumably you think it was just coincidence.  exactly the same coincidence at the start of the 3 mile chase couple years ago.
£108, 1 tick under my bet, nothing over £7 looking for anything else.
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 7:13 PM GMT
forum full of gamblers, sure someone can price that little coincidence up ....
Report JML March 24, 2026 7:32 PM GMT
you always contradict yourself.

first you say that you left the bet up because you "quite fancied that" and then it was because you've laid the horse at 11.5.

You have to go back a couple of years for when it happened before but only an hour ago you said it happens all the time.

What about all the in running bets you've places in the last couple of years but didn't have £108 before them. Don't they count?

You failed to answer why you left the bet up when you know it would only get matched when the true odds were 150.

You must admit that's pretty dumb  asking for 13 for a 150 shot.
Report hulk23 March 24, 2026 8:09 PM GMT
i'd already laid it.  so the money getting matched was inconsequential.
i don't have to go back, that was the most obvious example.
along with the £108 that appeared in front of mine on a very quiet market at Warranbool at 6.04am one day.
and the £108 that appeared in front of me when i was trying to lay under 4.5 goals in a Swiss Under 23 womans match.

but i've got hundreds more examples if any budding journo wants a scoop.
Report JML March 24, 2026 8:15 PM GMT
