Going stick(7.4)suggests the going will be on the quick side.
There has not been a reading in excess of 6.8 for over 2yrs.
Reading of 6.7 8th November 2025 ( Badger Beer meeting )when all races, hurdles & Chases, recorded times close to standard and under standard for the Novice Chase.

However, Laurel & Hardy (Bull & Jacob) were suggesting the going is on "the Soft side".

Either the going stick has malfunctioned, or the presenting team are talking bo**ocks.

Will watch the early races with interest.

The next (2.45pm Hcp hurdle) will be a much better gauge as to how the ground is riding.

Nothing Soft about the ground on the Chase course imo.
