Good one for me Reg. Still one of my favourite stables. Hayley said he has been quiet? Alexei ran well up to his rating, so did Kripticjim and then Rock My Way ran a lifetime best at Uttoxeter.

Never a good ride when you throw the whip away. Was just on the best horse. Second division jock, always will be. Tizzard was probably at the same level, if not above Pauling. Massive difference now. One has a top jock, the other hasn't. Bungled away the chance of Alexei getting placed in the Champion.

Not sure who is Pauling's Number one jockey but assuming you mean Ben Jones, he bungled away the Supreme on Sober Glory. The common denominator was that the horses were tired and made mistakes under pressure.
