Proper heavy ground as well not that quick going that wicked willie was moaning about at the Fez.

never heard of the trainer Robson de Aguir who has 4 runners in the maiden in ireland
Report leif March 15, 2026 10:15 AM GMT
He's Kia Joorabchian’s Brazillian man in Ireland.
Understudied Adrian Murray.
Been doing ok at Dundalk.

As long as he gets winners, he will be in a job.

Hope there is nobody betting on this today. You've got more chance at steepledowns.

What a shocking card. Absolute minefield.
Stay well clear.
Signora must be there for a day out in the 15:45. 1.6 > 2.54.

Nowt wrong with the card and the amount of runners, if you don't fancy it leave it alone but it's far from shocking imho

Half the card maidens of mostly unraced horses, 2 low level handicaps and 2 reasonable one's (15:10 & 16:20), but of which every horse is making their seasonal debut - On heavy ground. Unless you're in the know, It's an absolute lottery, good luck!

I'd gladly pay to watch that card. First 2 year old race of the season, some well bred ones in the maiden, a wide open premier handicap, with a few gambles. You might not like it as a punting card but it's certainly not shocking, for the first turf card of the season

Yes my comments are solely in regards to a betting stand point, adding to Slicksters comments. OF COURSE I will be watching, but certainly won't be involved financially unless something obvious pops up.

Fair enough

Winemaker in next (2.35) caught my eye - more the jockey booking Reese Holohan (7) takes over from Declan McDonogh who is at the Curragh today

won well at Dundalk and hampered next time when 4th, kept to AW for last couple of seasons but has won on turf
young jockey has ridden a few winners recently and the 7lb wont do any harm - wide open handicap but
gone win and 4places (small bets)

gl chaps Happy

I've backed him in the 4.20
Report N-east Correspondent March 15, 2026 2:41 PM GMT
