Even the Hunter Chase was only 3.3 seconds above standard (albeit 13.3 slower than GW). This is what can happen when the COTC doesn't flood the Course |

which incidentally was the last cheltenham similar to most of the previous 20+ before 2017 ie run on ground that was not to some degree soft |
