Brilliant ride until Skelton ran in front of him.

Skelton cut him off the run to the last

Winner going away wasn't it close home

Agreed......Found arses in front of him everywhere he went.

Ballyburn came from a long way back.

Townend just said he would have went very close if not for getting stuck in traffic.

Im sick as a parrot.

The winner would have taken some passing

Looking at the head on it was the winner pushing Skelton across which impeded both Ballyburn and Teahupoo. Added to the nine strikes of the whip.

The horse is usually held up. I did think he was further back than ideal today but I think it wouldnt have made a difference in beating the eventual winner.

Ballyburn has never won over 3 miles.

All about opinions but I Thought it made a huge difference today.

Yes, all about opinions. Not convinced 3 miles on decent going on the New Course suits him.

Not a good ride from both so far. His position was questionable both times.

Another winner prominantly ridden, Townend rode Karbau like he was a state man with 2 stone in hand

Didn't go much of gallop, Ohh Betty still bang there at the last.

He's given that a funny ride and never put it on the race.

He is finding a wall of arses in front of him in every race so far today.

He's 1/1 money to ride a winner today. I think one can get 3/1 now.

Lay Steinberg. He's running too free too soon.

Too free again. Townend needs to wake up.

Never out of 2nd gear. He settled after Haiti Coleurs injected a bit more pace and took up the running.

Well done Gaelic Warrior and Townend!

Shows again why he's by far the best riding. Total confidence after a poor day so far.

Apparently Ballyburn got the highest topspeed figure of any horse at the festival hitting a near 38mph coming down the hill.

Slevin got a 14 day ban for beating the back off the winner.....

Im sick. Ballyburn would have made my week.

Ballyburn and Seach For Glory tipping up at the last in the Ultima which I backed at 80/1 ruined my week.

Watched the Stayers back today. Even in a slowly run race, Ballyburn isn't a strong stayer at three miles. He was getting no closer to the winner at the line. Skelton was the idiot ride. Rode Kabral Du Mathan exactly as he did over half a mile less, knowing that stamina was a possible issue. He was the horse that needed to be on the bridle longest, and produced latest of all.

Why do some horses run with head down?

Villierstown was one I rem and very good too, but why it looks crazy.

Burrough Hill Lad was another goodie. I like it when horses do that.
