It's one reason I rarely play jumps. Can't see a solution other than using starting gates and I
can't see the dinosaurs letting that happen. |

You understand why the jockeys are so desperate, when the 40/1 winner was leading literally 2 yards after the tape went up
|

How did they manage it years ago when you had 30 rnr triumphs and 30rnr h'caps with no problem at all, beats me.

Getting to the stage where you need to start using starting stalls in jump racing. Illogical but something like that has to de done. Stops this nonsense overnight.

Easy excuse for jockeys like James Bowen who didn't give his mare the slightest chance to be placed. Bonkers

Starting stalls has to surely come into the equation. I've read an argument against it is that jumps horses are too big for the stalls, but surely it must be feasible to make jumps specific stalls that are bigger so as to accommodate them.

By:
What exactly was wrong with that ffs

Think they use starting stalls for jump racing in Japan?

By:
Ground, cant use stalls on heavy ground.
|
|
By:
Fair point.
|
|
By:
Surely, then you revert to tape start on heavy ground when stalls can't be used. Even in a jumps season most ground is not heavy though. Stalls are still used on heavy ground on the flat though aren't they?

A powerful enough tractor will pull stalls off any ground
