If he never trained a winner at the Festival again it'd be too many. Feck him, every time his name's mentioned the sight of him sitting astride that poor horse on his gallop immediately springs to mind. I just cant shake the memory, it was a dreadful look for anyone who looks after animals.

That he actually was allowed to get his licence back still wrankles and lets say post race today if he gets a winner, we'll hear about how much this all means to him, how he loves the sport, blah blah blah.

A 4% strikerate at the Festival maybe shows fate hates him as well.

You need to get over it Sam and take a leaf from Greg Norman's book re the murder of Jamal Khasoggi:

Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi was murdered and dismembered at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in 2018, with U.S. intelligence agencies concluding last year that that the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed Bin Salman, had approved the operation.

“This whole thing about Saudi Arabia and Khashoggi and human rights – talk about it, but also talk about the good that the country is doing in changing its culture,” Norman told reporters. “Look, we’ve all made mistakes, and you just want to learn from those mistakes and how you can correct them going forward.”

I was actually highlighting Norman for his deeply insensitive comment, not whether or not Saudi money was good for sport.
