Will Capon who plays for Bristol Bears in the Rugby premiership has been charged with rape in an incident that allegedly occurred in
2021...He has already been suspended by his club as soon as he was arrested, last year
The court case is scheduled for September 2027...!!!
So, he could be out of the game for best part of 2 years...and then may get a not guilty
Obviously,  the club will still have to pay him in the meanwhile
Just seems a long wait for the bloke,  not withstanding that the woman deserves justice

Reg, how the criminal justice system in this country has been allowed to get into this state is scandalous. And what if he's found guilty? He'll have been free to maybe rape again in the interim.

Yes, northanlite, that's why i said " with wider interest"
It's not the rugby player element,  he could be a footballer, cricketer, jockey...
I was trying to highlight the length of time he will have to wait for his trial whilst being suspended from playing

And obviously, this forum gets the most views
