Not so sure anyone who backed said horse at Kempton last time would be punching the air with delight.
Genius training to ensure mark remained at 140.

It's one thing planning it, another thing consistently pulling it off.

I suppose we could have all gotten on the 3/1 steering job today? the other widely talked up plot job Saratoga drifted today especially when you consider that the other one in that race was supposed to be Murcia didn't even run...nice double!!

Of course but most connections would have burned the advantage by now. Surely 80-90% of trainers are trying to get horses into target races to win big pots on the big stage. You have to know what you've got, how to use it and when to use it. Skelton currently is the best in the business at consistently achieving it.

Supremely West is supposed to be the biggest plot job of the week, Skelton again, everyone knows it, the jockey was even pulled in by the stewards at cheltenham earlier in the season and asked why he took the 5/4 favourite around the slowest part of the track on the inside.

Currently around 7/2

That’s correct, on the Opening show he’d added it at the end, his first three mentioned were TNL, Maestro Conti and Supremely West.
He then added , “And Madara and Grey Dawning will win the Gold Cup don’t you know?”  To Olly.

The one he’s been keenest on is Maestro Conti in the first tomoz, they have had more hurdle winners at the festival so.
