Has anyone achieved this, and if so, which bank did you use?  Thanks

I got one but it was back in 1989 when things were a lot different and humans made decisions, back then the back managers had a cup of tea with you or even lunch they were allowed to use the judgement, now I’m afraid a machine will not allow you pass even the first set of questions.

I gave it up as a bad job for above reasons and had to lower sites a little and cash purchase. Did me a favour in the long term.

Betting records/bank balance are no guide as to your ability to pay any mortgage in the future. Computer says no.

Yes even if you are demonstrably successful, no guarantee that you will retain your edge, or betting would be directly taxed. Plenty of other things could go wrong.

That's why I got a proper job, but did me a favour too. Turns out I was much better at specials than horse racing. And specials was almost invariably done in evenings and weekends, so I could do both. Now I 'work' from the home that I purchased with said mortgage!

Tell them you are a Racing Tipster, but don't put that down on the form, put Financial Advisor. Vague but accurate enough. Wink

follow tell dell's advice if you want to, simultaneously commit mortgage fraud AND create an income tax liability.
