I thought it was injured maybe bv or something happened with poor jump at last?

Yeah I thought perhaps went wrong, but why then allow him to finish the race, why not immediate pull up and dismount, if he feels something is wrong why allow him to perhaps suffer further damage.

It had a bit of momentum and probably thought he was near enough to the line just to get across it? maybe it was something minor? I think it would surely have won .
