Having been born and raised in South West London until my mid twenties, and worked in London for 30 years until recently I can only assume Johnny Vals was taking the mickey with the above comment. I would rather live in Kabul than certain areas of London.
I reckon there are approx 6 parts of London I could happily ans safely reside, the rest is a million.
