It does appear that there is a shortage of 140+ hurdlers around at the minute. I've been moaning about it for a while now. There's rarely been a h'cap with a 150+ rated hurdler as top weight in the last few years even at the Festival it's rarely more than one per race.

Yes Loper, just looked up last County Hurdle and Mullins had one rated 152, the only one over 150.

In the UK there is Constitution Hill and the rest nowhere. The New Lion is only 159 and the current Champion Hurdler is 152!!!!
