Also other defendants found not guilty of aggravated burglary and violent disorder.
After viewing this shocking film how could they be deemed not guilty?

Because our population has been brainwashed into believing that almost anything is justified when supporting Palestine and the jury was made up of members of that same brainwashed group. It is bizarre that such behaviour should be excused but so long as we use the jury system these verdicts will happen. It is another symptom of our very divided society.

No doubt some clever barrister has used the definition of what constitutes Aggravated burglary to get them of on a technicality and made a case that it wasn't violent disorder and should have been charged with causing criminal damage, but FFS they drove a Van through a security door and smashed everything up!
But how can you hit a Police woman with a sledgehammer and get away with it, unbelievable, these middle class morons need a good hiding themselves, surely the CPS should appeal these shameful verdicts. |

stewarts rise.............they were charged with criminal damage but, unsurprisingly given the other verdicts, after 36 hours of deliberation (which would have given everyone in the case a huge clue as to what was going to happen) they failed to reach a verdict. Shocking verdicts but it happens quite frequently. The bunch who threw the statue into the river/harbour at Bristol were aquitted. There was another one a few years back on an airfield I think. Blokes who stand on bridges over roads for 3 - 4 days closing roads etc etc. Gullible juries. The worst way of reaching a decision in a criminal trial apart from all the others (as Churchill might have said).

The sledgehammer person was a no verdict and not a "not guilty", so can be retried and hopefully get found guilty and get a long sentence - although not sure if this will even happen.

Whatever the cause, whichever side of the political divide you sit on doesn't matter. This case was about a violent mob breaking into a legitimate factory, smashing it up and seriously assaulting a Police Officer with a sledgehammer and to most people viewing this film and who have replied to this thread are clearly guilty, your politics don't come into it. |

stewarts rise - it's a crazy decision seeing as it is all on camera, and how anyone cannot make a decision on it is baffling. If this doesn't go to a retrial and found guilty then I'd be amazed, out leader should be all over this but it is the wrong political crime to go after.
When you have the likes of Corbyn and fruit loop Sultana celebrating the verdict then we can all see what's wrong with the Country, and it certainly isn't the mythical "far right" that seems to be everywhere, it is the loony left. |
