Paul's taken a bit of a battering recently with the stampede of stable stars, owners and the poaching of stable jock Harry, and while it is a bit difficult to feel sorry for the once so arrogant King of the West Country, I admire the dignified way he's dealing with all the slings and arrows unleashed in his direction.
Today, at Taunton, I'm investing a pony Canadian in the first five races for Paul and Harry to demonstrate spectacularly that the partnership is still very much alive. Good luck all.

They do heavily support Taunton. First winner looked very useful.

even money shots get beat more than 50% of the time regardless of who is riding them. 6/4 shots lose at least 60% of the time regardless of who is riding them. punters seem to think an even money shot "should win" and are up in arms when they get beat

Bit deflating Harry jumping off last two rides, haven't heard the reason why. Wonder if I'd used Nicholls/Cobden selection instead of horse's name in the bet description would the last two legs be void! Anyway won a few quid but could have been much better!

Bad fall in Ireland but he has history of riding when carrying injuries/concussion. He looked OK on the 3 winners but the doctor must have seen something.
