At the time of writing this horse is 16-1 and might have a little bit of value each way, has had two runs following a two year lay off and not the horse he wants was, remember his last visit to Sandown was when third in the Tingle Creek 6L behind Jonbon. There was however a lot to like about his last run when going from the front at Wetherby and jumping and travelling really well until two out and then a mistake at the last exaggerated the distance beaten, he will no doubt come on again for that last run, has been dropped three pounds, goes well in deep ground and the trainers only at the track as well as jockeys only ride, the weight is a worry but if he goes from the front and is left alone he may run well, if not this race then there maybe something in the near future for him back up north.

I concur, nothing wrong about backing the best horses in a handicap at Sandown Park. GL.

Nothing wrong with selection, good pointers for a good run, interested in Dr TJ Eckelburg, drop in trip second time headgear, although stable don’t inspire confidence. Gl

Finished a tired fifth but with twelve stone on bad ground its not to much of a surprise, I wonder if there is a plot going on with this horse, maybe see him out at the beginning of March off a mark of 142 and then go to the Red Rum Chase at Aintree in April at the national meeting off this or a lower mark with Brian Hughes aboard and go win that race, one to keep an eye on with that race in mind.
