you should ride 'em

Why - I am not employed to ride horses - Walsh is.

never mind

If McCoy thinks he's not as good as Cobden his boss will listen. Cobden was available too.

That one flew over his head, Mitolo!

walsh argument falls away when Jp thinks, jonjo jnr and nico are good enough
|
|
By:
But does JP think that?
The fact they won't be riding his horses next season when Cobden's available, would suggest not! |
|
By:
Exactly George.

As has been said Walsh is 40. I think Cobden is 27 and his main stable's decline left him open to offers. Hardly a surprise and hardly a reflection on Walsh.

My apologies to Mark Walsh who doesn't actually turn 40 for a couple of months.
Cobden was 27 in November so the age difference is definitely pertinent. Walsh didn't ride that many of JP's in England. Is Cobden going over to Ireland to ride some of the dross ? |

JP will have a plan,SS.The trouble is we will never know

New jockey in England & Ireland. He should do if that's
the case. |

a scenaripo that hasnt been mentioned. maybe walsh was thinking of retiring at the end of the season.gold cup bowout or a big winner in punchestown.be prepared, get cobdon for next season. this outfit has been watertight in information for many years, leaks leaks leaks.left walsh in a no win situation .as i said just a scenario

walsh is 41....there is the answer.

39 according to Wiki. See my posts above.

Would Walsh have been keen on flying back and forth to ride in England several times a week?
|
|

Three of them will be having a fair old giggle…..

The original opening post was slating Walsh for his ride on Saratoga.
I thought the complete opposite. A 4 year old given a suspicious ride with the Fred Winter as his target!! |
