Only commented as you lost the plot with elise who simply gave you a chance to rectify your comment about Meg Nicholls riding and you went berserk with the language etc?

Sid James, mentioned a lot earlier, had quite a life
I read a biography about him, and hope I remember correctly..
Was born in South  Africa, had a job in the Johannesburg stock exchange in the 1930s where he committed some sort of massive fraud...had to leave the country quickly and came to the UK...started his acting career late 1940s, had never acted before ...
Was in his 50s when started getting with Babs Windsor

Was an interesting read

Not so different today. James Bond falls out of aeroplanes into rivers , but he's ok. Heroes run away from blokes with machine guns , they miss. A fella in Emmerdale had an axe buried in his back but he was fine a week later walking about. Everyone who has a secret gets injured and goes into a coma so they can't tell.
My favourite ( was in Happy Valley and others ) is where a villain dowses his victim in petrol and threateningly waves a match close to them. In reality the fumes would ignite and blow them to eternity.
A small one that always gets me is , have directors never used binoculars.? When an actor looks through them we always get a view with two joined circles. In fact , you see just one big one.
