Free money on Apache, shirley, as odds against in dead heat and result should stand.

Token did drift a bit more than I initially realised but not as much as Apache. they may leave it as it's a dead heat but still think apache did more to cause the interference so wouldn't touch it

Market is very sweet on Apache being demoted

The change in odds is unreassuring  - i rate it a 50/50 now but not going to risk money on an unpredictable stewarding decision!

Would like to see that photo print.
Apache Green looked to be ahead on the line

Incompetence again!

Bit of a shock, as Token Gesture under a right hand whip drifted towards the two interfering horses   
as seen on the head on and rear camera

Interesting that the stewards probably felt the jockey and connections on the eventual second warranted some penalty for being the most wayward and certainly interfering with the third: I feel that is in their discretion given the dead heat, although it will be interesting to read any follow up comments / clarification  - maybe from the jokey club?

apache green edged a yard or 2 right..token edged slightly right..so the stewards are saying as apache edged more right and nudged the 3rd which then very slightly nudged token 2yds out its cost it the race.

If it were dodgy they could be thinking which one can we make the most money on. Market certainly seemed very sweet.

On that official photo there appears to be a tiny bit of nose on the other side of the white line.

Exactly. Suggests the mirror wasn't aligned properly, which could explain why dead heat called despite nearside looking clear winner in the mirror.

strange one this..in mirror the far side is 100% in front..but watching slo looks like this side 100% edged in front.

Yes, sorry. I meant the far side (3) the winner based on the mirror. Looks clear-cut. And then the nose of one of them is past the line on the print. Bizarre!

Far from the first misaligned mirror. Redcar being the most incompetent. Took yonks before that was corrected.

100% the greys nose has been cut off in the mirrors reflection..yet look level on the camera looking over.

missed this earlier but on the head on token gesture moves out 1 lane before there's contact from the 3rd (caused by apache)

this result should have stood imo

Kempton A/W has always been tricky regarding Stewards.
I very rarely play on them

I'm glad I missed it because 3/1 apache I would have been on
