Not surprised personally - I think Newcastle are poor this season, and City should really be able to dispatch them - I know it's first leg, but away win makes it much easier.

To play slightly safer in betting terms though, I've just laid Newcastle here, so draw gets me a result too.

They've improved in results recent, but a lot of those wins were close vs poorer opposition.

+ had to do extra time v Bournmouth most recent (while city were having a training session)

Newcastle will make changes and have lotsof imjurys on top, City bound to be favourites.
Cant see their being a great atmoshpere as City have returned half their allocation.

Newcastle are the bet imo......Big gamble going on, on Stuttgart......im on.....after lumping on Genoa yesterday.....love a bit of aftertiming.

as an aside, nice to see Nicola Currie keeping her head down and now getting on a few of Baldings....

As for Newcastle being poor currently...disagree completely...I wouldnt lump on Newcastle, but they are superb at home and i think they will be
all over City.

thats ther crux,if you fancy city might be worth keeping half your stake back to see if they get through the 1st 15 mins, certainly wont be betting till we see city,s defence/team news, haaland anytime ev,s decent bet ,imo

Newcastle have already beaten City in the league this season  2-1.

one thing to bear in mind, if games ended at half time, City would be leading the EPL by 10 points currently.

Newcastle imo are the value bet tonight, irrespective of the end result

Not worried also about fatigue if a Newc backer - both their top attacking players played the full match and ET v Bournemouth...

Aberdonia, agree about Nicola Currie, don't know what happened to her after a brilliant apprenticeship, good luck to her in the future. cheers.

Rico have you got your sky box working for rtv at your address ?   If so I take it you use a linked box  and the main box is registered at another property.  Because rtv have just tried my card/box and said it doesn't work because there is no sky account at my address.  I didn't know it went that far. I just thought that having an HD box with a card that were once upon a time linked with a subscription was enough.  Anyway I'm moving shortly so unlikely to pay for a dish install anyway even if allowed at the house.
