Absolutely shocking and I have suffered all the episodes so far
It is brutal. Should have given Ian McShane the gig.
Larry Grayson would have been more convincing than Chico
Sad to say that I am in agreement with all so far...a really badly done series.
Filmed at Wetherby, Ponty and Ripon so far, the racecourse scenes switch between the two on the same day!
Mind you, the original stories by Dick Francis were pretty ropey - boy's own stuff.
And...as for Chico and his martial arts skills...any decent villian woudld pis* themselves laughing at him when he turns on the hard man stuff!!!

Yes, forgot that. Not that knowing a female wrote them makes them any better!
Did you know that Francome, presumably out of super ego itis, also wrote some so-called novels on the racing theme? They were absolute tosh.
