Was itthe year it was ran on a Monday rather than the Sunday (boxing Day), a couple of races were abandoned for some reason?

Well done tiger on both accounts there it was run on Monday 27 th due to racing not been allowed on a Sunday ,and yes racing was abandoned after the king George.
