Anybody having withdrawl problems?

Leaving my modest balance intact ready for the challenge on Friday. When I read your thread title stewart I thought you meant withdrawal symptoms from having a bet every day since Dec 26 last year As it happens my addiction extended to a bet on one race at Deauville yesterday and it won which brought my loss for 2025 down to £25 so might yet show a profit. I find French racing quite predictable but stay away from it when there is plenty of racing in GB. I won't bother today. Good luck if you are having a go at Pau! Not even France has racing tomorrow.

Do not trust any bookie with your money; any bookie could withhold one's money citing t&c upon a request for a withdrawal. And, to be subject to this clause suddenly, unreasonably and unprofessionally eg no meaningful reason given is unacceptable and against the principle of acceptance between the bettor and bookie.

I've had some tickles on South African races though, and amazingly even still some profits...

We go to Spain or Portugal in early March every year so no bets for 8-10 days and surprisingly I survive.

My bets for the KG were put on some time ago. Similarly, Sir Gino for the Champion Hurdle. The key Boxing Day races will only be an evaluation, accordingly.

You may be right about Sir Gino but giving 7lb first time out to Golden Ace will be a massive performance from a 5yo even at this time of year. His best effort was beating Lump Sum eight lengths who is a consistent 145 rated performer but was that CH form?

I believe the same was said about Constitution Hill when he trounced Lossiemouth, the most hyped non-2miler who's disputing fav for the Champion Hurdle; Constitution Hill beat State Man fairly, squarely and easily; State Man beat Golden Ace comprehensively in Ireland.

Constitution Hill is a freak. I think Sir Gino has the ability and potential to repeat the hiding to Lossiemouth and Golden Ace. He'd always won his races emphatically; he showed a good turn of foot at the business end.

I think Golden Ace at 1/1 is value for a 2-place finish.

SG might be the next superstar but he has only had one hurdle race out of juvenile novice company. No way is he value as an odds on shot.
