El Gordo Spanish lottery 4 billion Euros

It's the biggest in the world,  as far as I know, with the average Spanish adult spending 70 Euros on the annual draw...70 Euros per adult...!!!
There's lots of big winners, and it appears to be done on a postcode lottery basis...all the tickets sold in each particular area have the same prefix or something like that
So people travel to an area that they think will be lucky to buy their tickets, you don't have to actually live there
It worked yesterday with people buying tickets in an area near Leon that had been hit with flooding earlier this year...the thinking that this area was due some good luck...about 170 people winning 400k Euros each...
