Is he of the standard of AP, Barry G, Ruby when they all rode together... Nowhere close but he is very good. He rarely gets it wrong tactically, is good in a finish, can pace from the front very well, and doesn't lose on the best horse in the race that much. Nico, however, the total opposite.

It's a futile discussion Newmarket as it can never be proved or disproved. And we're in an era of stringent whip rules. They all need the horses, then and now. It will never happen for obvious reasons but Cobden being main jockey for Skelton would be an interesting prospect, to say the least.
