The Racing Game (talkingpicturestv) 2nite

Have the dvd. Think the racing scenes were done at Wetherby but could be wrong.

Remember watching it at the time and thinking it wasn't up to much. It's taken over the Francis Durbridge slot which I did enjoy.

Wasn’t impressed either.  The lead is a “charmless nerk”  - very sullen.  Should have hired Ian McShane, he would have put a bit of life into the role.

I watched the series first time round and it was in the style of the novels.
FWIW,it is widely accepted that his wife wrote them all

I’ve heard that but personally feel it is unlikely.  His biography of Lester is worth a read.
