Aintree a different challenge now. Very few fallers if any in this contest. The old brigade chuntering about no spills and thrills. The new mob smiling to themselves about how they have got their way. Which camp are you in?.

All the field jumped the chair and bb no problem, just a glorified hurdle race.

I am in the camp of wanting to see my horses complete the course, preferably in the first 3 or 4. If they make a bad mistake, they don't deserve to win but I am not a fan of 20 starters and 5 finishers in any race. I laid off Mr Vango so not much more to come if he does get the race. The place bet on Twig looks safe.

Aintree as we knew it long gone becca, sad but things change ,Less injuries always a bonus , but the spectacle is no longer

Very good win for Bear Market. Made all and still won despite 2 or 3 cruising behind him.

if I was a CYNIC I,d say they've lowered the fences again from last yr, some looked smaller than the old water jump on sandownds back straight another fence serving no purpose
