9 years in and I still find myself switching it on only to switch it off again 5 minutes in. Its like I'm incapable of, or subconciously unwilling to accept that Racing on mainstream TV is in my past. The coverage is beyond redemption, there just aren't enough buckets.

Cancelling the TV license does help , I rarely miss it . Watch on Betfair laptop or mobile or just the afternoon replays on the Life . Sound muted more often than not .

Long since I have recorded it which allows two things.  Watch on bf and watch back topical races later or, if I miss that afternoon’s racing watch back with the fast forward option when drivel come on.  Then discuss the day’s racing later with a mate with the facility of another look back to catch interesting features/interviews/debates he relates.  Not ideal but a dec3nt compromise.
The bf pictures are pretty good and are enough for me.  I don’t want distracting waffle anyway.

Much better keeping an eye on the latest possible market moves/ripples anyway, imv.

Least worst options are all ok and we get by, but would I swap it to have Chalnnel 4 or BBC reincarnated? In a heartbeat!
