It does make you laugh though doesn't it, how many times do we hear after a horse has just pi55ed up wen asked what the next target will be and the cliche of cliched reply is......"Well we're going to let the horse tell us, we're going to do right by the horse"...yeah yeah yeah, easy to say when you're in front, not so easy to say when you've done your proverbials and you're desperate not to let go and want to show the world he's still all that because in case your lugholes aint working to good this horse has been telling you in various ways for a good while now to not run him over hurdles anymore.!!

Whilst it is obviously undeniable that the ultimate decision lies with the owner, it is not unreasonable to question his decision-making, particularly after the Punchestown debacle.

twister and Kennedy think its their duty to batter at least half the hurdles.fences oin the way round,Stevie wonder see,s more strides in a week than twister sweet,s in a season, cobbden sits still lets the horse make all the decisions ,which is what's got CH in this situation in the 1st place,if your on about purely presenting a horse at an obstacle Walsh, townend would surely have other mounts in top races, likes of reveley,Hughes far better at presenting a horse at an obstacle than those above but no one ever going to put them on CH

Listen and listen good.Henderson and the owner will not dare running Constitution Hill back over jumps public opinion whether they like it or not has scuppered that far far to much to lose if the worst happened......Anybody want a side bet because i would put my life on him never running in a Jump Race again.

Not whilst at Nicky's anyway , amazed they havent considered a move to a stable with a jumping guru in attendance and adopt a far lower profile than a present .Then take it from there .

I always thought that you were thick,Aceform but suggesting Chasing beggars belief. The fact that Hendo has publicly stated that he will never jump a fence seems to have escaped your notice. Nico is the Stable Jockey and the fact that you don't think he can ride only confirms why you are a clueless, serial loser

Interesting to see the difference in body positions of HS and NdeB at the second hurdle in the Fighting Fifth. One jockey much lower and further forward, more contact with the horse, riding full ofconfidence. The other, not so much.

JGH, if they are positioned as they always are at that stage of a jump it is of little significance, don’t you think? sadlers, if they do put it over jumps next time I don’t think they have any choice. I think they would have to put someone else up, public debate being what it has been. I think it would be an error but as irons says it would be the owner’s right to effect any change he saw fit.

She's right. The horse is telling everyone he doesn't want to go jumping anymore. Why do people keeping rubbishing the Flat idea? I know he'll be changes codes late in the day but CH is something very much out of the ordinary, he's not just a regular NH horse. It's his high cruising speed and ability to quicken up that's made him look so good over jumps. Sure he was quick over his hurdles (when he could jump) but that's not what won him his races. Give the lad a try on the Flat and let's see why he can do.

If CH is to jump again, then Buckley should base him back in Ireland from whence CH came, and campaign him over the 'old style' wooden hurdles (no foam there) with Mullins or Cromwwell.

Village Idiot, I laid CH and Backed GA, thats the only claim made and proven, accurately stated, no BS...I recommend less scrumpy, as it only hampers your anger management.

I am not annoyed Curried Cretin, merely amused by your evasive bullshat. You must have mystic powers to suggest that I (a person you have never met) have been drinking. I await your aftertime after the Tingle Creek has been run

Well Village Idiot, interesting that someone who gives it out so freely on here, is so sensitive when he gets it back. Might be time to rein it in a bit on the insults if you cant take it.

You have proved nothing other than that you are a lying rodent,Curried Cretin. I am not sensitive in the slightest but just pointed out that my state of sobriety or otherwise is beyond you, unless you have a mole hiding in my bungalow

You say that barstool as if her historical record has no bearing on the validity of her opinion. Which it of course does. The question is should she have made her opinion media-public and of course the answer is no. Based on it being unprofessional to criticise a fellow pro. In public, nothing else. Imv.

Hen was skilled with eventers as well so has plenty of knowledge of how horses are taught to jump and how they progress. Regardless of your opinion of Nico overall, a change would be the last throw of the dice over hurdles just in case CH is enjoying getting rid of NIco who probably rides him a lot at home as well. Animals can behave quite differently depending on who is riding them. When I was young we had a New Forest pony that was very hot because my brother and the late jockey John Haine both rode her in gymkhanas. She won a lot of prizes but pulled like mad. When we allowed an inexperienced child to sit on her she just closed her eyes and wandered along at a slow walk. Not saying race horses are the same but they do behave differently for different riders.
