Jolly started it by bumping and hanging into FPP. Was getting the worst of it anyway.

Would the 2nd have won....no...simple....might have but more than likely would have finished where it finished.(2nd)

Red one came across and instigated the bumping

Blue one bullied it back

Billy’s argument should be that the winner became unrideable, and if he’d been on the far side of it and run straight to the line, while the winner swerved violently left, he would certainly have won.

If Billy had kept his hosts straight there would have been no bumping.

Cost me 45 per cent of my profit, but the British stewards cannot be trusted....better safe than sorry...

Bluebird - i was saying what Billy’s argument should be to the stewards.
Having said that, the current rules are quite ridiculous - any horse that causes that much interference to its main rival should be thrown out, regardless. As it is, if the winner causes minor interference and wins a short head, he gets thrown out, but if he completely mullers a horse and therefore wins a length, he keeps it.

If I had backed the second, I would have been upset. The horse was out of control.

2nd bmp winner initially..then winner decides to veer left ..takes 2nd with it for 6-7yds and wins cosy...imo impossible to say 2nd would have won so benefit of doubt had to go with winner.

Havlin was dreadful……

they make decisions based on the rules ".. impossible to say 2nd would have won so benefit of doubt had to go with winner."   Rico correct again.

Carte Blanche to take any rival out providing you create enough carnage to put some distance between you and the 2nd  and then yer keep it.

Havlin didnt intentionally steer it left yfdsc's...it veered of its own accord,
