Bizarre ride. Surprised to see who was on it, thought it was an inexperienced rider.

Could well be the case. But rushing the horse up after being held up to join the leader rendering the horse legless was surprising.

That is exactly how I felt after watching the ride on Maximillian in the novice chase at Haydock earlier.
Very unbalanced over the last few obstacles and was surprised to see it was B Hughes. |

How it beat Western Knight at Exeter is a bit of a mystery but it is looking like WK does not stay 3 miles. As others have said, Tiny Tetley needs hurdles and a good gallop.
