Withdrawn 1252 for a 1308 race....How is that going to work?

I had the fav of the 1308 in a 4 fold, first two go in and now my poss returns have decreased by over half....the fav was withdrawn at 1246 reportedly.
Not sure saddo but I believed they were allowed more time to make the call...I may well be incorrect
