I've stuck that one in the tracker, travelled well and was coming with a run when coming down.

Spare ride replacing Jones. I was just about to start a positive thread. Hadn't noticed him before, but I thought that was a very good ride. He got a horse who was jumping terrible to jumping well. That transformation in itself doesn't happen that often. He then weaved his way through to give ger every chance of winning. The horse jumped the hurdle well, but has just capsized on landing. Very unlucky.

I'd backed it, so it was the only one I watched, really.

Too short for me, but interesting to see if he can get the job done at Wetherby today. Up until now this one and the above horse haven't been easy to win with.

It's worth saying that the horse jumped right throughout when winning easily at Warwick. Jock didn't fight him. Will that be an issue in a more competitive race? If he does get away with it then going right-handed might well offset the rise.

13/8-8/13. Grandad thought he went a 'bit right'. Well he went a lot right, but it made absolutely no difference.

He looks tidy.

Three rides watched is a very small sample, and they have all been hurdles, but I can't pick holes in any of them. As I said both of these horses had proved difficult to win with. Hopefully, he gets more chances in the conditional series.

Bar the second last, a very well judged ride, and good to get a winner at one of the big tracks. That's two winners in a row, and should get some more chances.

Repeat of the above at the same track. Jumped the hurdle and capsized. Was rallying at the time.

Today looked to me like he was beaten bar reversing momentum with rivals at the last jump. Went for it - higher risk travelling and jumping within themselves - and lost.
Or just the curse on Nevison, maybe. |

Goes today 1.20 Kempton with Jones up (10-2,1LB OH).

Another good effort on Fine Casting. Ground too quick, jumped slowly, but kept persisting when it looked as if horse would drop away completely.
