You could phone a bookies to place a bet took a few seconds now you spend an hour sending your details ridiculous .

Wondered for ages what the little torn bits of paper our local independent kept flushing down the toilet. They were of course phone slips, whose info. now safely settled and entered in the “little black book, were being instantly disposed of in case of an impromptu “visit” from Customs and Excise.
