Ruby seemed super confident because of the field size and ground conditions, not a Lay for me anyway.
By:
Last I looked betting indicated a win,but Nico has lost a bit of confidence, ballooning some of the jumps to prevent another fall, maybe a bet at 2/1

The Jonbon question
How many horses at their peak have had a wind op ? Jog round today Or turbo boost Evens to find out Small lay |
By:
Several bookies offering 6/4 as opposed to market price 5/6. Do they know something?
By:
Wat books
By:
I made this more 5/4, 2/1
So the Skelton horse at 4.7 have to be the bet |
By:
356 super. That's a suck in bet for a tenner
By:
need to start now to win the queen mother

No Champion Chase surely. The Ryanair at best, or possibly the King George over 3m.

LDS primed for today, they smashed on it, never in doubt
By:
Can't jump anymore. Lost his pace. Finished completely knackered. Time to retire.
By:
Had a small bet on Libberty Hunter but I have not backed Jonbon for 3 years. I know he has won a lot (nearly all at odds on) but he is past it imo as is his trainer.
By:
aint had wind op for sh1ts & giggles
By:
Another Henderson horse that seems to have lost its mojo. What excuse will Henderson come out with today; turns out it was a serious wind op??
By:
Not fit IMO. No chance in Tingle Creek but, a £100k Clarence House however...
By:
I certainly wouldn't contemplate backing Jonbon after that lifeless performance
By:
A change of stable or retirement beckons for him or trainer. The horse will not win any prestigious race, I reckon.
By:
AND why did L'Eau du Sud, finish so weakly end of last season on good ground?
By:
Winner isn’t a mug never was.
Will be one for the winter (not Cheltenham Festival though) |
By:
What will be the excuses from Hendo? The ground, 1st run, the op and a loss of confidence post a few jumping mistakes.

I blamme Mick Fitz and Matt Chappers as they both tipped him up, the ground, 1st run or wind op have zero to with it imo, once they were tipping it!!!!
By:
Until Henderson gets rid of Edward Scissorhands who is constantly sending mixed messages to the horse through the reins. He completely bottled it going to the 3rd last and was tugging on the brakes 7 strides from the fence way before seeing a stride.
By:
Looked legless at the end and I'm not sure where you go after that with it.

An absolute sickener for placepotters he got second.

Got to agree with that.

Surprised ITV didnt have a Jonbon countdown clock running
Dreadful conditions today , first run of season ,would wait and see before casting judgement Will agree did not look too promising ![]() |

That is an understatement,old nanny

By:
If it is not henderson it is nicholls who pull these shorties on a regular basis.

Yes,they just hate to have winners at Cheltenham
