"The company mistakenly included documents indicating it had been transacting with entities based overseas, sources said.  Details were written in white text on a white background but were spotted by staff at the regulator."

White text on a white background?  Like SEO in 2005?

So easy to accidently post white text on a forum
these daze, even on hear, if you want to.

Comical stuff.

Most likely looking to off-load/hedge (or arb) some of the action, but unsurprisingly unable to find a "bookmaker" licensed in the UK that was prepared to take a bet - so forced to use the "black market".

I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if this is the tip of the iceberg and lots of the big names and most of the small names aren't operating a similar business model. Raking in the guaranteed profit from addictive online games of chance but offloading any risk (real bets) to a proper/real bookmaker in Asia.

Slightly more comical was this quote: “If you’re offshoring VIPs, your licence is toast,” said one industry source.

History tells us there isn't much likelihood of anybody ever losing their licence regardless of the severity of the misdemeanour.

just do what everybody else does, limit "real bet" players to peanuts whilst keeping the cashino going full pelt.

return your bookmakers licence back to the GC and they'll re-issue you a casino one.
