It was the jumping across the fav at the last that the Stewards was about

With last fence issues the stewards tend to let the result stand. Its a long way from the finish at Sandown, they are tired horses naturally wandering around and getting a tired horse to jump straight is 90 % luck and 10% good riding.

it only slighty checked its stride,100% accidental..would the 2nd deffo have won? imposs to know..therefore stands is the correct result.

If Bowen had ridden to lead before the last, he would probably have won, result standing, is the right result.
Bowen will be sick, and no doubt is positive he would have won, but you cant predict the horse in front jumping right in your path. |
