No horse over 9 year old has won this in 20 yrs which leaves Djelo the fav , The Real Whacker and G A Law. Can't see the last coming back to form and only 1 fav has won in the last 10 years so am Going for The Real Whacker who won this last year and has had a freshener over hurdles. Looks like he's been targeted for this and B Hughes on board.

Pleased to see some thoughts on this race. Is it my memory or is this a very poor renewal ?
It seems to be a long way from the days of Kauto Star and the BF million when it seemed to attract a decent quality field ? Ive only run my eye over them but I would struggle to call anybody this field top quality or anywhere near consistent. |

Great race and Pic D'orhy looked the winner 2 out but his stamina/fitness just ran out. I always expected that Pic D'orhy would run really well as Harry Cobden had gone there and the Nicholls runners at Ascot have been poor.
