Always a pleasure to see young jocks do well.
Jamie Gambin. 4.07. Fakenham, also rode a nice winner.  2 wins from 8 runs this year.  Claims 10.

And another - Toby Moore (7).  First win, on Valdorcia at Kempton.  Bagged the rail, used his 1 draw well and used the cutaway nicely to lead and go away.

Crazy how some of the sprogs mirror the mannerisms. It's not the case with Sam, but with Willie, if you weren't looking at the screen you could easily be forgiven for thinking it was senior twister.

Ryan’s son.  Wonder if they’ll make a film about him?

Ryan’s Daughter.?  No?  It seemed funny at the time.  Grin
Young Toby just came next to last at Bath.  Every day a school day.

According to Paddy Aspell on Billys radio Henry Callan (Jacks brother) will never be a professionaljockey
he will remain as an amateur as he is too big and heavy

Another for young Toby.  Castle Rock, Nmkt.  What a start to his career.

to be fair looked like a sack of spuds who nearly fell off twice and took an age to swap whip hands, looked anything but neat and tidy

They’ll be putting him on anything that has had its mark reduced by dodgy rides and then say what a genius this lad is.Wink

Would be better off riding a good few no hoper boats around the gaffs to start with. Clearly will be haunted by accusations of nepo advantage and comparison to his dad anyway, so landing plum rides on Godolphin odds on pokes at HQ isn't probably the best route, tempting as it may be.

22 rides in public and a horse that ducked out of the gates, then wanted to hang all over newmarket in the strong wind

still at least it's not young billy getting pilloried today (yet!)

A lot of his rides have hung that I've seen, not just that one. Of course it's early days for any new jock, but which ones got on Godolphin odds on shots in Newmarket having just started? They are putting him in the spotlight.
