300k seems very cheap for a Group 1 horse..send him to stud as NH sire at couple k a pop and money back in no time

I thought it was a bit of a bizarre interview posted in the above twitter link, it's as if Osborne is oblivious to what the horse's ideal going requirements probably are, as it appears he's targeting races that will likely be run on quick ground.
Well, now we now know that they never viewed him as a stallion prospect despite his impressive win from Auguste Rodin in the Tatts Gold Cup, and in that sort of form probably would have mullered City Of Troy on ground that would have suited in the Eclipse, but what kept him away from the track when he appeared to be in such tremendous form last year...Dodgy blood counts and then a dodgy hoof but nothing that was ever too serious? Hmmmm. |

Seems a bargain by racehorse prices, unproven yearlings regularly make this, could pick up some nice races abroad and pay his way

Prefer Mullins to have got it ??

Not many takers it seemed otherwise I think he'd have gone for significantly more than 300k guineas just on form alone; some unraced pedigree yearlings would go for significantly more.
I hope its new owners will have a lot of fun and rich pickings with him, most probably abroad. |
