That's why you never discount 2nd , 3rd or even 4th strings when horses have little or no exposure , nobody really knows until they hit the racetrack.

Dan Skelton in the last at Fontwell yesterday , two in race with the one halving in price finishing stone last and his other winning at 18/1 , Beckett another to produce great opportunities for backing 2nd string winners and obviously Willie with that embarrassing quality of depth it'd be impossible for him not to have 2nd string and above winners.

Generally they're written off too easily , racing isn't an exact science.

Never said i did Ponch , just generalizing regarding the ignorance of 2nd , 3rd and 4th string chances of winning , plus too small a price for me anyway i'm a big double digits only backer.
