I opened an account with them 6 months ago.lost a packet early doors, a couple of very close shaves but that's punting right..won it back and now about level. They're taking big bets off me, maybe because I was losing to start with.

He’s stopped marking up till 12pm,low trade etc, which is fine, but it looks like it’s to stop some getting a bigger price. He’s perfectly allowed to do this.
At least he puts himself out there,he’s done well, promotes his company.shame he’s getting slaughtered over small bets ,prices.

It’s not just twitter he’s getting slaughtered On, I watched his last podcast, and he’s getting Lots of negatives there too, almost all having a go.
Apparently his ante post prices on the 2yo race at Donny Were a disgrace. Hé was chunks under on everything, hé Was 4s thé winner, when everyone was 8s midweek
Looks and sounds like a bit of a charlatan ? Was mocking Punters on the track for having 7k to 4 when their was 4/6 on Next board.
Hé Can apparently see there been no racing offered in the shops In the near future, as the product is way too expensive In fact he’s anti racing, and encouraging other bookies to boycott racing To get costs down

Disagree, He just likes a good moan,at least he’s open and put himself up for critism,
He’s done well, got a masters, then got a job in a betting shop in Ireland, learned his trade, then set up on his own, Big jump though from employee to setting up,ambitious and he’s like blogger, puts himself out there, Hates the curragh cos no ring in front, loves punchestown cos queuing round the corner. He layed Rory ,best price,
Think is spat here is,he felt this guy was being crafty, clever,so basically said, you’re not fooling me. But sometimes it’s better to lose a battle,to win a war.
Heston blunemental had him over, but when he moans about increased tax,I’m sure he’ll be putting the fat duck bill on his expenses.moaned about(common theme),cost of accommodation at chelt for his staff.thats how the punters feel.
With ,fat duck, accomdation, all his expenses, plus 100ew on ponieros.hes re booked for next year. Fat duck 5k Accomdation 5k Full trip 5 k Ponieros 17.5k
Extra tax ,2k this will destroy the industry,it’s pointless betting on racing.

I don’t cuth, just relaying what was on YT ? Never heard of him or ak bets until the other Day. I think the idea of the PC’s are exposure And generate interest in his business.
But look is hé any different to all the other Books who won’t take a bet or close accounts down ??

More 18-25 year olds have been racing than been to a premier league game.
Bookies syphon off these new customers to footy, then spins. Then say, young people aren’t interested in racing.but racing helps attract new customers.
Would be interesting to know.
The percentage breakdown of first bet on new accounts.
Say racing is 30%,the bookies aren’t going to shut the avenue of new customers of 30% because media rights are expensive.
Ultimately,if it was a scorched earth situation, the bookies need racing, more than racing needs the bookies.
Racing could go it alone with a tote, sellable in newsagents, tescos etc, like lottery tickets.and on course.
No one ever opens a betfair account, thinking,I love roulette, can’t wait to start playing.

punter in question wasn't giving AK any genuine business, chinning the account completely fine here
punters whinging about account restrictions has been done to death, so boring.
The only difference here is that AK does try and claim he's somehow different. But behaviour like has happened will see you get closed across the entire industry IMO. A complete non-event which has blown up. Ah well - gave us some entertainment for an evening

He was betting on an Eagles receiver to score a TD, don't know the facts for certain but I'm guessing that the AK traders had not reacted to the fact that the Eagles main pass catcher AJ Brown was out injured which would have logically shortened the other receivers as they were likely in line for greater share of targets.
What I'd like to know is what were the prices of the other players like, were they all out of line or was it just Dotson that was missed, Goeddert, Barkley also scored but their primary receiver, Smith, didn't.

closing an account because somebody had 20 quid @ 2/1 an NFL TD scorer when it was 7/4 best price elsewhere claiming the 2/1 was a "stale price"
he is rightly getting a coating for this

Brown was being reported out on Friday, the game was Sunday, they were sleeping, you can't punish a punter for spotting it, what are we supposed to do when we see a price bigger than we think it should be, phone customer services first to check that it's OK, shutting the punter down smacks of spitefullness, "I'll f00k1ng show him"

now he's comparing it to a politics bet requested by a different account £100 @ 66/1 that was cut to 5/1 in minutes
exactly how is that relevant to this situation when 2/1 was laid for £20 & 7/4 was available with other firms

nfl, ryder cup, champions league outright, glorious goodwood, galway festival & king george
see on twitter this guy has posted his bets up.https://pbs.twimg.com/media/G4N2XttX0AAQ2r4?format=jpg&name=largenfl, ryder cup, champions league outright, glorious goodwood, galway festival & king george
The guy placed the bets two days after Brown was reported out!!!! iF it was moments after the report you could understand AK being pi55ed off but all that should have happened then was giving the bloke a ring and offering him a job monitoring team news.
The Kittle bet is worse because there was no team news that altered things in that game, it was only Kittle's second game back from injury and last week he had zero receptions. The only thing that might suggest that Kittle might see an increase in targets is that yesterday was "national tight ends day" which is a light hearted celebration of the position that was the brain child in part of George ittle, but he was 2/1 which more than reflects this.

Unfortunately in the modern world with social media freely available, if you mess with the wrong fella it can very well come back and bite you and that's what happened here, a PR dsaster. Many more, although rightly annoyed just go quietly, not in this case though.

AK said the 2 bets he had ,both won,and we hadn’t moved price.
So the question is. Does the customer bet best price other touchdowns scorers on other days, and do they win.
If the bookies are all the same price, does he not both having a bet.
When AK says, hes in the industry or knows people in the industry,
How can industry knowledge ,help knowing who will score a touchdown.

I don't have specific knowledge about the anytime touchdown market, but I used to be heavily involved laying on the anytime football scorer market (the prices used to be too short back in the day) and they are one of the worst value bets you can have with a bookmaker. I suspect the same is true in the NFL equivalent, especially post COVID with the increased bookie margins. He may have beaten the general market price, but that doesn't mean he got value in a market which likely has massive margins built in.
My initial take is there's nothing especially shrewd looking at this fellow's bets on his account. He's just not a complete mug. He's not betting often so he's clearly responsible and in control. Very much has the look of how I would bet way back in the day when I was betting casually for interest every now and then, but had a little bit of a clue, but not enough to make a long term profit. Maybe he did achieve value on the NFL. Maybe he didn't. If he did achieve value on those bets it isn't a reason to close the account. It's whether he achieved value on average over all his bets and the evidence is he hasn't. The lowest price matched on Juventus in September on Betfair was 70 and he took 67 with bad ew terms. The horse racing bets are not shrewd on the face of it. Jan Brueghel drifted and went off 5/2. Dunum drifted and went off 12/1 (no BOG) and the ew terms were bad. The two outsiders went off 20/1 and 33/1, but outsiders often trade 2 or 3 times bigger on the exchange, and prolly more symptomatic of huge SP over rounds.
It's sad if closing accounts has come down to this level tbh

on numerous times around royal ascot/iris classics etc, AK used the podcast to say he had eyes/faces in AOB yard that marked their card for them before pricing a race, so AK can use info not available to public/punters to take money of punters, but you cant use public info that you react to quicker than AK to take money of him
