Cheers lads, I came down to Newton Abbot today, just waiting to get the train back, having a couple of pints by the station
I had one decent bet, for me, on Ofcourseican in the 2nd at 9/2 and just played around the other races, but the Placepot was a big bonus
There was a band playing after the racing but not my thing

The money came in handy, had to pay 500 quid excess on escape of water to the insurance company just last week , plus another 500 to have plumbing sorted

Congratulations. That last-leg winner will be the first and last time a Chester Williams horse goes off at a decent price. His horses are going to be hammered in the market after today, particularly ones he gets from other yards. And you got the absolute crown jewels out of it! It was dark and it was raining by the end, but who cares!

I managed to lay three seconds there today - nothing like your bonanza - so I celebrated with some cod and chips from Jacksons. We probably passed each other as I scoffed them on the platform.
