He seems to rub a lot of people up the wrong way ,but it's not that easy a job and he does know his stuff about the horseracing game to be fair.

He's ok, a bit patronising and arse licking at times but a really good sports presenter and he does try to promote the sport to the ITV viewer which is probably the main aim.

I think he in enthusiastic and genuinely loves the game...I do wish he would lean towards the genuine punter more rather than the person who wouldn't know the difference between a horses nose or its tail. It is all rather dumbed down for me.

Not really his fault that he is asked to front the most dire presentation of any sport ever. It's the fault of the senior producers who think that horseracing coverage means getting as many nonentities as you can to say they love racing and I am on a new reality TV show. Appalling! No sign they have ever been told.
