I prefer the US way, stewards mostly only bother to look when a rider objects.

It was the ludicrous US ways that led to Royal Gait getting thrown out after winning by 8L,swifty.
No system is perfect but most decisions in the UK are callable,imo

No system is perfect, agree irons. I think the US way is to penalise the jockey by DQ for hampering rivals rather than best horse keeping the race and jockey getting a ban like over here. Don't hear of many bans in US, I may well be wrong. Does it mean jockeys are more careful to keep straight over there?

I saw one head on after the amended result on RTV and had no view on the fairness or otherwise but.with the margin being so small it was hardly a surprise

Yes. I was heavily into FPTP in the photo but bailed out for a moderate red once I'd seen the head-on.

racingtv only showed head on after the race and lv did not show it

hd on was shown on the RTV feed.
