So a reading of 5.8 is Heavy, but Good to soft, Good places is 5.3

Yep total sense, as usual...Crazy

You cannot use Going Stick Readings from different Courses and compare them

It's meant to be a universal measuring system for going - so yes, you should be able to compare them...at least more approximately than this!

As you can see they suggest it is an objective measure, and the related goings are listed with the numbers linked.
So something is 'wrong' in the above RP data....
