It wasn't, it was two inches and when the stewards watch it that's what will be in their heads, the impression of what they are looking at and not the official distance.IMO

from what i seen on RTV it looked like winners comes 5-6yds right and as 2nd was closing last 50-60yds the jockey has to momentarily ease and it looked like it was beaten a few inches..thort 101 to be disq..heard the com showing hd on as was typing stewards in forum thort al wind back..only RTV didnt show hd on and then sed was a hd.

if it were the judge who deemed that a head then they arnt fit for purpose..

After getting shafted at Killarney a few years ago when I backed the winner by nearly two lengths.I was astounded when there was a Stewards.
As no contact had been made I topped up at 1.3 on the Inquiry.
Needless to say,the horse was disqualified in favour of a locally trained gambled on horseSad

A Flat race at the Festival there Rico which it won by 1 & 3/4L and cost me a chunk.
i didn't write it down but made me wary of Stewards over there

As it was a £6,000 loss it wasn't  a disaster.
I used to record bets but just do a daily and weekly P&L except for chunky pre race bets which are getting fewer now

i had £100,000 losses that wernt a disaster..a £1000 loss is now.

Still noy a disaster but takes much longer to recover from I/R.
I suppose that it is all relative
