Hi all,
Its very windy here and the wind direction is half in your face on the straight course. So i would expect front runners to face a tough time today. I will be backing Jamie Spencer all day long.

Are you suggesting Spencer is a one trick monkey... IE can only ride come from behind horses?

How much less energy would a horse sat directly in behind another horse(s) be saving in a strong headwind? I know cyclists do like to tuck in behind Also, if there's only one front runner, only one other horse going to benefit unless they're all running like ducks in a row |
