Is it even correct information who knows anymore
Report The Management October 1, 2025 2:25 PM BST
It's Tw@tter - so most likely they either died in a crash and the vehicle was being driven by a far right radical or they were murdered in their sleep by a radical far left wokey.

Take yer pick - but surely the fact you're not even sure if it actually happened, is an indication that you might want to look elsewhere for information/news?
Report Jacko2017 October 1, 2025 2:37 PM BST
Thanks for that valuable advice

You're welcome - best of luck in your Social Media quest to find out if things posted on Social Media are true or not.

In my experience they have stringent protocols in place to prevent anybody just making stuff up. In all likelihood, Elon will have had his crack team of fact checkers and moderators thoroughly check it out before allowing it to be published. So it's probably gospel and you should feel obligated to "like" and "share".

Very "disturbing" that as well as running in the same 2YO race they were both foaled in the same year.

Or there could just be an unfortunate but fairly straightforward explanation for their deaths - in which case you'd probably just have to avoid speculating and show some respect/feeling for connections.

I was offered a deal one time 15 years ago go to Goffs by a yearling for x amount pay the commission on xx amount insure the animal for xxx amount , keep it in the field for 6 months before unfortunately it would have an incident leading to its immediate departure from this planet but I guess I am making that up as well of course
Report The Management October 1, 2025 4:48 PM BST
I'd guess..... that you're guessing.

But it's 2025, so apparently you can use the internet to guess/imply/insinuate anything you like, regardless of the consequences for those involved and with no consequences for yourself. Well done you.

Report ponchoslament October 1, 2025 4:57 PM BST
Jacko, I’m a little confused here, how was this supposed to work???
You’d buy a random yearling ?? Any yearling
Report Jacko2017 October 1, 2025 5:07 PM BST
No it was pretty arranged with trainer he would pull it at the last minute put it through as a private sale for doublethe initial price, once Goffs got their commission and insurance they couldn't care less , rampant in Ireland at the time with a number of smaller trainers . No jersey no intention of causing any sht was just posting something I came across some people take offence when it's not to their liking and that's fair enough no problem with that I was after seeing a link like top rated posted but I don't know how to post a screenshot on here so was unable to , the management obviously took great offence to my lies
Report Jacko2017 October 1, 2025 5:08 PM BST

jacko how/why would anyone find this info?
Report Jacko2017 October 1, 2025 5:13 PM BST
By the way I am not insinuating this happened here for the record sorry Rico don't understand ur question properly to answer?
Report the old nanny ;-) October 1, 2025 5:18 PM BST
It is strange that they should both Die on the same Day, 4 days later , Unless as De Man says a Road accident or some very strange incident
Report the old nanny ;-) October 1, 2025 5:25 PM BST
No news of such a Road accident

you would imagine the RP would have picked up on this Story
Report The Management October 1, 2025 5:30 PM BST
It is "strange" - but it's not "disturbing" unless you are trying to imply or insinuate something. The OP now says he isn't trying to insinuate anything - but only after he's first doubled-down with his own story of cruelty and skullduggery.

Can't understand why you wouldn't just wait for the explanation/facts - rather than suggest something "disturbing" has happened?
Report Rico-Dangleflaps October 1, 2025 5:38 PM BST
how would anyone be looking at death notices to discover this info jacko?
Report uptheirons October 1, 2025 5:38 PM BST
Conspiracy theories rule today and there is no such thing as an accident anymoreSad
Report ponchoslament October 1, 2025 5:39 PM BST
Ok, well you are dealing with insurance companies,
And if it went through as a private sale, but went through
The ring, unsold at 25k, and it’s registered as a
Private sale for double, never knew thst to happen. Now you are going  to insure it for 50k.

There would need to be a 50k transfer from you as the buyer

Then you have to injure the poor yearling, so bad, that it has
To be destroyed, so a registered vet would have to do that, unless
Hes in on the scam, hé will quickly work out, thé injury is not from
Galloping.

The insurance company has to be notified straight away, in all
Racehorse fatalities, thé assessor will arrive, thé next stop is would be
To scan the injury,if it’s insured for a substantial sum.

And then your problems start, as you will only get a fair market value,
As it’s unraced, so led out unsold at 25k, sold ouside thé ring for 50k lol

There’s already enough of a stink, you woukd be lucky to get anything,
Never mind thé fair market value ?? Which if they did pay out, woukd
Probably be at the stallion fee plus 30%

Fck knows Rico I genuinely couldn't tell you , in this case maybe some insider or someone with a vested interest / vendetta maybe.
all i know is that a number of acquaintances of mine at the time done very well out of it but it was 15 years ago
Report Jacko2017 October 1, 2025 5:56 PM BST
It's called money laundering for a reason poncho and If you believe that some in professional sports including a small country vet cannot be bought think again anyways take from it what u wish I was simply recalling a tale from the past which I know to be factual no offence meant to anyone

Surely nobody that thought it might be that, would then be stupid enough to repost it.
Report Jacko2017 October 1, 2025 5:58 PM BST
It was also 15 years ago so no doubt procedures have changed dramatically and it was easy to get paid out in those days
Report Jacko2017 October 1, 2025 6:01 PM BST
Agree management but it was a good question from Rico to be fair
Report ponchoslament October 1, 2025 6:02 PM BST
Of course most can be paid off, in fact 99% of people,
Can be trusted, below a certain figure? But for the trainer
Tge vet and you, to risk your livelihoods and future, for
A few quid, in a hare brained scam, is worrying. Never stoop
So low, for so little ??

Far from little sums involved bud  , I personally didn't get involved but knew a few who did and nothing ever came of it except big profit for all involved as stated it was done at a time when money laundering was a lot easier and more profitable
Report s.kenbo October 1, 2025 6:16 PM BST
It’s insurance fraud surely, not money laundering?

re the horses; the dates recorded are quite often the date it is notified, not the date of death (similarly change of ownership, geldings etc are not always entirely accurate) so as these horses ran on the 18th and were recorded on the 23rd they might have died together in the van on the way home or in an accident at the yard, tbh this is the owner and trainers business and twitter tards should keep their noses in their own bedsit
Report uptheirons October 1, 2025 6:24 PM BST
Correct,Kembo.
Has anybody on here ever tried to get any money from a horse insurance claim?
There is more chance of swimming the Channel handcuffed

You would think that the owner or trainer might have mentioned their demise and released a press statement as to what unfortunate accident may have occurred. The fact that these horses were of little ability would make me slightly concerned, if they had been some of the owners top horses surely an announcement would have been made.
Report LoyalHoncho October 2, 2025 12:11 PM BST
Thousands of racehorses are euthanised annually and/or disposed of because of lack of speed.  Do they not matter as much as these two?  If so, why no fuss about them?
Report stewarts rise October 2, 2025 12:18 PM BST
Think there was a TV documentary a few years ago, about the amount of young 1 or 2 yo horses that were sent straight to the abattoir as the breeders couldn't sell them. Must be a limit to the amount of people with money to spare to keep horses in training. At the end of the day they're a commodity and if the only money you can get back is for horsemeat then i guess thats it.
